Mission home prices are nearly $400,000 below their 2022 peak
The latest Mission real estate statistics are in, and May brought some of the strongest sales activity we've seen so far this year.

Detached Homes Detached
home prices in Mission remain well below their May 2022 peak. Benchmark prices are now almost 30% lower than they were at the height of the market, a reduction of approximately $391,000.
At the same time, sales activity has improved compared to earlier this year. Lower prices, reduced inventory, and more realistic seller expectations appear to be helping bring buyers back into the market.
Townhomes
The townhome market remains relatively balanced, giving buyers a good selection of properties while still providing opportunities for sellers who are priced appropriately.
Competition from nearby communities and new construction continues to influence buyer decisions, but well-priced homes are still attracting attention.
Apartments and Condos
Apartments remain the weakest segment of the Mission market. Buyers currently have plenty of choice, and sales activity remains limited compared to detached homes and townhomes.
With buyers able to compare opportunities across multiple Fraser Valley communities, pricing and value continue to play an important role in determining which units sell.
What Does This Mean For Buyers and Sellers?One of the most interesting trends in today's market is the increase in sales activity despite prices remaining well below their peak levels.Affordability has improved compared to the height of the market, allowing more buyers to participate.
At the same time, many of the sellers who were unwilling to adjust to changing market conditions have stepped aside, leaving a market made up of more motivated participants.The result is a healthier level of activity than we saw earlier in the year.
